First, I must confess that I purchased this as a family Christmas gift. Made sense, as I really enjoy fresh brewed iced tea and my although not that often we seem to bowl water on the stove for an occasional oatmeal cup. I do love iced tea. That said, I was worried a bit that this would be one of those cheap kitchen gadgets that would be stowed away like the reindeer socks a couple weeks after the holidays passed with regret. That said and the reason for this review 4 days prior to Christmas. Perhaps it was the blue LED lights, or I was just thirsty, but it never made it to the wrapping station nor under the tree. Yes, I opened the box, peaked and was boiling tea moment later.
All that said, tip of the hat to the makers of this fine machine. It is really perfect in all respects. It is sturdy, well built, super-duper easy to use, fun to watch boil, and easy to clean. My favorite part of all though is the base that plugs in. Not too big and not too small and the pot lands on it with ease, from any direction.
So, in the end, plenty of these on the market at a variety of price points. I have not used any others but am in love with this one. It is just perfect.

Caution due to a bad construction and cheap material used
I have this tea kettle now for a few months, and we are using it extensively every day. What we learn about it is following: Design as it is shown on pictures is nice, fancy looking when cooking water, with all these tiny blue-ish lights at the bottom. It can be very practical to see water cooking inside, for those who need, because it can give you an estimated, optical sense of how close is to the boiling point, before the timer goes off. That's it. On the other hand we learned when using it how something, looking so nice, can be so bad in construction and materials used to literally, put it together. Lid doesn't close completely, there is an illogical gap left at the top opening which actually prolongs the cooking time. Top does not open completely, as the opening may give you the impression. Next, I burned myself many times when pouring water/tea into my cup, because material at the grip's highest point is extremely thin made, though on picture looks so thick. Also, space between glass and plastic, covered outside with thin aluminum, is after very short time of usage leaking around the grip. When water is boiling, and you start pouring water out, be very, very cautious! Not only grip starts to overheat from water, but it starts to drop all over your hands. Another issue I think is that is not possible to empty the whole amount of water. There is a considerable leftover inside. Only way to get rid of it is to gently shake the kettle upside-down. Switch design is absolutely, usage related, illogical too. Some photos are included, but not everything can be shown, just experienced. I do not recommend this product at all, and we are going to use our old Black & Decker thingy. All best!
