Squeezes lemons really well!

I selected this one over other models because it was an America's Test Kitchen winner. It's a little pricier, but I think you get what you pay for here.

This one, so far, appears to be sturdy. It's a little bigger than the basic model, with a longer handle so more leverage for the squeezing. Instead of a simple hinge, this one includes a gear system and a stainless steel "squisher" that presses against the outside of the lemon. It seems you get get more pressure this way, and I believe that the lemons are giving up more juice with this one.

The star pattern of slits in the juicer do a good job of preventing seeds from getting pressed through into the liquid, which is nice. The whole thing feels solid and cleans up well.

This one is the "lemon" model, but I have also used it to squeeze limes with good success - I'm not sure you need one of each. It does take up a bit more room in the gadget drawer, so you may have to make extra space or negotiate with your significant otter to discard a previous utensil or two, so if space is at a premium this may not be your first choice.

The handles are a bit further apart so you may need to use two hands when operating it, especially if your hands are already a little smaller. But that seems to be offset by the extra juice you get from squeezing.

This juicer replaces a previous, fairly basic one (like several of the cheaper models seen here) which I bought several years ago. The previous one (from a completely different brand and design) had the handle snap off in my hand as I squeezed a lemon. I anticipate many years of use from my new purchase. (If that changes dramatically, I'll post an update.)

I’m so pleased with this juicer. For years I’ve been using a plastic reamer that sat over a cup, and it worked fine, but I’ve developed chronic pain in my hands. The effort required to use the old one was more than I could do—at least not and expect to get all the juice out of a lemon.
This works like a dream. You just cut the lemon (or lime!) and toss it in. One good squeeze and loads of juice comes pouring out! Oranges will work but you have to quarter them. Do you want to make lemonade? The good, homemade kind? With this thing you can, quickly and without pain. Cleaning is easy; rinse it under the tap and air dry. I like the snazzy green color too.

This is a really good citrus squeezer. I have had the yellow lemon squeezer (medium size citrus squeezer), but it wasn’t great for squeezing full-sized oranges as part of a recipe I make regularly, so I decided to get the orange one for use with oranges.

I’m a little disappointed in the color. I was expecting a brighter orange, but it’s more of a burnt orange color. Think UT orange (Texas, not Tennessee).

While it’s a great device to use, it’s kind of difficult to store. It’s large enough it would be difficult to store in a utensil crock. Its squeezing area diameter makes it too tall for my one kitchen drawer, so I store it in a cabinet with my Pyrex liquid measuring cups. I think a drawer with medium depth would be ideal.

I kind of want the little green squeezer, but I’ll wait until it goes on sale. Between my lemon & orange juicers, I think I can handle just about anything (though tiny key limes would be difficult).
