THEE best eyebrow pencil a redhead could ever purchase. I am an artificial redhead and have been going on 4 years now. We're talking vibrant, deep red/orchid colored locks. Having naturally blonde hair to begin with, my eyebrows have a brownish-blonde hue to them. So in a nutshell, they look non existent when I have a shade of hair that is overpowering. And guess what, it took me many years to realize what the eff was different about my features that never fully made me feel completed. It finally came to me...it was my hot mess of an eyebrow situation. Not only was I screwed with ghost brows, I had a total "Daddy issue" moment with my self esteem (trust me, I have a great relationship with my daddy lol. Jus sayin, it was a deep moment), and without hesitation, like at all, I allowed my diva teenage friend, Lillian Mendez, go to TOWN on my brows. I was head down in her lap for what felt like forever so little did I know, she was causing permanent hair loss simultaneously. Almost 18 years and one child later, my brows have not one single time after that butcher session, looked acceptable enough to me to go au natural. What's even more of a shame? Being a cosmetics slut, and very good at it, too, I was never able to master the ability of shaping/drawing in my own eyebrows. Some spots wouldn't grow hair. They were and are incapable of growing full. That look is out of the question for me always and forever. Thin is what I have to make work for me. Who knows how they'd look had I never allowed them to be "fixed" when they were never even broken. Were they full eyebrows? lol like I don't even remember!
This eyebrow pencil has not only given me the color I've searched for long and hard to give me actual brows, but also delivered it in the most flattering and on point color shade that I've ever seen. MAC, urban decay, kat Von D, Brett brow! You would think one of these stellar cosmetic companies could get it right by now. I mean how hard IS it???? It's red! If they make blue eyeliner, no excuse man.
This is a great eyebrow pencil. I have a hard time finding the right color for my hair (light brown with lots of gold and red highlights) but this pencil is perfect. Goes on well and keeps its sharp, narrow point. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because I think it is a bit expensive.
This is the best eyebrow pencil out there. Seriously. I would know... After destroying my brows as a teenager (remember when super thin brows were all the rage?!) Yeah, they never grew back all the way... Listen to your Aunt Becky, kids- go easy on the tweezy. Anywho... This Chella pencil is perfection- mechanical so no sharpening, ultra thin so precision lines, great color and stay power. Amazon didn't have the taupe I normally buy so I got this darker brown. I just apply with a lighter hand and the color matches great (I have medium dark hair).
Love this eyebrow pencil. It is the absolute perfect color red for redheads. All the other pencils I have tried just do not quite get the color right. Chella gets it! It also has a very fine point that doesn't require sharpening; it winds up and is super easy to apply. If anything, I just wished it had a little more product in the tube.
wonderful! slightly lighter than expected but in many cases that's a good thing for eyebrow pencils and can easily be darkened through layering. It's very thin, so hairlike brush strokes are easy to make. My only worry is that because it's so thin that it might run out really quickly.
This pencil is just okay - I think the origins or Clinique superfine is better personally, but what I absolutely was frustrated by was the plastic wrapper they suction onto this baby. It took me quite a bit of time and struggle to get it off without damaging the pencil itself, and the little perforated area (or what appeared to be perforated) was impossible to budge. I will not be purchasing again.
