Product works just fine. Used it to remedy a PS3 YLOD. You have to coax the flux to flow under the CPU/GPU by tapping the felt tip on the m-board, but it wasn't too troublesome to use.

I bought this liquid flux pen for work on printed circuit boards. The dispenser is a fairly stiff wedge of plastic that is spring loaded so that when you press the tip to the work, liquid flux is released and flows down over the tip and onto the material to be soldered. Unlike some other devices of this type that I have tried, the liquid does not flow out so fast as to run over the work and be wasted.

If you keep your parts clean and degreased and use good quality solder, you won't need this often. But when you come to that solder pad that just won't cooperate, this pen is really handy. It leaves only a modest amount of residue which can easily be removed with alcohol, if desired.

It is always a pleasure to use a product which does just what it says it will do. Liquid flux always seems a bit pricey but this one is effective and one pen should last a good while. Highly recommended.

It might be expensive than other flux but is a good product and the fact it is in a pen like design is awesome so you can put it on the exact spot or area you need it on. This is worth it even if you a weekend soldering warrior you would enjoy this product. Just remember that you have to press lightly for it to flow out if you press to much then you will have flux everywhere. Just wanted to say it because there is at least one person who will press it fully on the surface then complain about the mess.

If you repair electronic circuit boards you know how messy most liquid flux can be. I thought I would give this a try and am so glad I did. It really works as advertised, providing flux to clean the connection while minimizing the flux residue. It has a felt tip that is spring loaded so you only dispense the flux as it is needed. This is a product I can highly recommend.

I used it to fix my ps3 YLOD. Easy to use. Only problem is that it is hard to tell how much flux is coming out each press of the pen so I did multiple applications to be sure. My 8 year old ps3 works fine now and still have more than half of the flux left just in case.

If you know what the Sony PS3 Yellow Light of Death is then read on. I tried many fixes to get my PS3 working again. NONE worked. I finally broke down and purchased this No Clean Flux + a Heat Gun. Used the flux in conjunction with the heat gun on the GPU & CPU. Let the system cool over night, and my PS3 fired right up the next morning. My PS3 has been working fine since I applied this fix over 4 months ago. However, 2 days ago the YLOD came back. So I will try the fix again. Either way the product works and I gave it 5 stars for that.

I have used several other types of flux but CW has got me hooked. It dispenses nicely and the flux itself is great.
It's really not 100% no clean but of all the fluxes I have tried it leaves the least amount of residue.
