Great Job Steph!
Unexpectedly, Justin offers his home to her. This is Tessa’s nightmare and fantasy coming true all at once. Tessa and Justin have been friends for a number of years and Tessa has been secretly pining after Justin almost since the day they met. She reluctantly agrees, although she’s not sure how this is going to turn out. Justin was a child genius of sorts, started college at the age of 14, which has left him oblivious to women’s actions. Although, after Tessa moves in he finds that he is more and more attracted to her. In part, because she accepts him for who he is, quirks and all. Justin is known for being an introvert and being a bit OCD, Tessa never tries to change that.
This series has gotten under my skin, every book has been had me submerged from beginning to end. I completed this one in one day, fortunately, it was a day that I could dedicate to the book because I think I would have been very distracted if I had needed to complete anything else.Read more ›
Tessa's brother Trey wants to move out of their apartment and live on his own. Tessa and Trey live in a rent controlled apartment in New York City and Tessa decides she will move out and give the apartment over to Trey and his friend.
Tessa thinks it will be easy to find an apartment but the pay of a secretary doesn't go far in the Big Apple.
Justin steps in and tells Tessa she can stay in his apartment. It's not long before Justin realizes that he is just as attracted to Tessa as she is to him.
Of course, there is the inevitable tragedies. We learn about Tessa's past and then even more sad events come into the story.
As always, the group of friends is all together and helps to make the story more interesting aside from being just a romance novel. I'm glad that the author decided to keep all the previous characters together in this series. I like reading the progression of their lives as they grow into their new relationships and rolls as parents.
I cannot wait for book 5 about Paige although I'll be sad to see the series end.

“His mouth was lethal, but I’d let it kill me if it meant dying such a pleasurable death.”
I’ve followed Steph Nuss since the beginning with her first release, Wanted By You. While I’ve always been a fan, I can honestly say that her writing has grown tremendously. Watching her evolve and come into her own is something quite special for me as a reader. In some ways, it makes me feel like I’ve adopted these characters. They’re like real people to me with the way that I’ve become invested in their lives, relationships, and friendships.
“That’s the thing about life though: no amount of regrets can change the past and no amount of anxiety can change the future. But if you think about it, we’ve always been together.”
From the moment I began Cherished by You, I knew that Justin and Tessa’s story would be my favorite. There was something so distinctly different from her previous personalities in the group. Tessa didn’t grow up like the others, which resulted in a very different mindset. However, it also made me relate to her in ways that I simply couldn’t to the other characters. Doing what she did, fighting to be where she ended up, earned my respect and made me take a liking to her instantly. Justin is so much more reserved and gentlemanly than the other heroes in the series so it made for a great change of pace. He was sweet and kind, but also walked a balance that Tessa brought out in him.Read more ›
