I was looking for a well-priced scrub pant that was comfortable, and these really do a good job. I originally ordered a size M based on the size chart, but it was WAY too big. I had to exchange for a small. The exchange process was very easy and quick. I have 2 pairs of these scrubs and I am very satisfied with both.

I currently work in the healthcare industry. I am a larger male at 6 foot three and around 260lbs I have always noticed scrub companies typically cater to their female market especially the local scrub shops. I had always warn Dickie sand washed scrubs until not being able to get some locally. I tried Cherokee workwear these are a great unisex scrub they wash and wear very well. Don't hesitate in purchasing, you will definitely enjoy

See my updates below --- I bought these because I'm about to start a CNA program and they require white scrubs. I have a 40 inch waist and a 34" inseam, so based on the size chart I ordered the XL Tall size. These pants are very loose around the waist, and the legs are too long. I have not washed them yet, so perhaps that will make a difference. One other thing is there are no pockets along the hem on the sides like most pants have. The only pockets on these pants are the cargo pockets on the side of the leg, and one back pocket. Otherwise, the quality is great, and I like the pants. One piece of advice about tying the drawstring, don't tie it like a pair of shoes, or you'll never get the knot untied again. Being the waist is loose, I tied it tight when I tried these on, and found I had considerable difficulty getting the knot loose again. I experimented with wrapping one string around the other and drawing a loop through to tighten it (slip knot). It seems to work well. Maybe this is a secret nurse's trick you all know already.

Update 2014-06-11: After wearing these for 2 weeks during my clinicals, I like them a lot. Maybe they could stand to have more pockets, but the size turned out to be pretty good. The length just had a bit of a break, that's all. Once I got the hang of keeping the drawstrings tight, there were no problems with the width. Perhaps more pockets would have been nice, but as a CNA trainee, I used the big cargo pocket for my car keys and my XL gloves (none of the patient rooms had XL) and the smaller inner cargo pocket for my pocket sheet. Other things I needed fit in my tunic: I had my nurse's clip-on watch clipped to my breast pocket, and pen in the breast pocket, and no worries. I guess it all depends how much cargo you need.

I bought these to use as "Chef's pants", for serving/catering, but they look a bit too casual for my needs, even with a dressy blouse. The pants are very comfortable, but they run a bit larger, especially in the hips & thighs, so you might want to go down a size. On the plus side, they came out of the dryer practically wrinkle free, but you have to remove them immediately. They were also cool in a hot kitchen, as the fabric is lightweight!

This is my favorite style of Cherokee pants. I'm a bigger girl and very 'hippy'. These pants fit me well and I like drawstrings as I can adjust them as needed. Love the fact there's a tall option for my 36" inseam! I've bought this brand and style for years and they wash well with very minimal fading, even with darker colors. Be careful with the cargo pockets, I've snagged them on several pairs of pants.

I usually wear a 3x and these black 2x fit just a tiny bit snug (I wish these came in a 3x tall!). The inseam after washing is closer to 32 for the 2x tall, but this is just right for me. The fabric is just thick enough and wrinkle free after they come out of the dryer, I can wear them as scrubs on clnic days or office pants on other days. They're a nice deep black color and well made.

Bought two pair of scrub pants, third time wearing the seams tore out on sides and front by the waist. Pants were not tight, normal snugness. Wrote company and they had me send the two pair back and sent two new which was very nice and fast. Pants did the same thing again. The material is not sturdy and the seams were not sewn to last with wear and tear of hospital work. I have had other scrubs and never had this problem. Sorry Cherokee but that brand stinks. Would not recommend.

At first I thought they were too big at the waist but once I pulled the draw strings I realized they were a nice, gathered, comfortable, relaxed fit slack. I really like the poplin fabric. These will probably last through a hundred washings, or more.
