Installation was very straightforward. I took off a few screws located on the back plate and pressed a guitar pick in between the top case and bottom to release the latching clips. Then I fit the red top case snug onto the keyboard, snapped it into place, and put the screws back in. Simple as that. The red didn't "pop" as much as I would have liked it to, but it still looks great—especially in unison with my red/white keycaps.
As noted in the item description, you will have to remove the "void warranty" sticker located by the USB port to get to one of the screws on the back plate. However, for the purpose of installing a replacement top case, the warranty will not be voided.

How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
