About Cheryl Carpinello
My Arthurian stories serve as an introduction to the King Arthur Legend. Readers find themselves steeped in the Legend through fun and sometimes dangerous adventures. My Arthurian stories are faced paced and feature the key elements of those times: loyalty, friendship, and honor. Guinevere's trilogy follows young Guinevere and her friend Cedwyn on adventures that will define their roles in the Legend.
My Ancient Egyptian stories take readers back to 1330 BC Egypt with all its mystery and magic. This is done through a dangerous history-changing, time-traveling adventure and through old documents of King Tut.
Grandma/Grandpa's Tales 1&2 invite children (ages 2-5) and those with learning difficulties to listen to and start to read with fun stories and repeating phrases. Book 2 also invites readers to add their own illustrations to the stories.
The Arthurian and Egyptian stories come with extensive Back-of-the-Book materials that make these easy to use for instruction and book clubs.

Long ago the old texts of ancient Egypt alluded to scrolls in which King Tut spoke to the people from beyond the tomb...
But, Tutankhamen Speaks isn't a story about the lost scrolls...
It's about the story written down on those ancient scrolls: Tutankhamen's story.

Fiercely loyal, Cedwyn always rushes to Guinevere's defense. Stubborn to a fault. Always there for her. A future Knight? His one and only hope. A hero? Not what Cedwyn strove for, but it sought him.

And so these two—both on the edge of Legend—barrel forth in this deadly dangerous and riveting Arthurian adventure.
Across the dark water to the land of ancient Gaul...
Renegades take Cedwyn and the littl'uns farther from home and rescue.
Without any thought for her own safety, fifteen-year-old Guinevere sets out alone to save Cedwyn. And if she fails...
