The one button mouse eliminates the irritation and aggravation users with small hands experience when they try to cut and paste, click and drag small objects and other computing tasks that require larger hands and fine motor skills. The single button mouse with no scroll wheel is easy to navigate and is constructed with durable and long-lasting reinforced plastic optimized for rugged durability, toughness, and longevity.
Top customer reviews
My son can not work with this mouse as the speed can not be controlled and the regular setting is just too fast for him.
The main issue is that for some reason this mouse is wider that the 2-button version from the same company. I was kind of expecting it to be just a single button version of the two-button, which we have and which is a truly excellent product that has not drawbacks that I can think of and is excellent in every respect. But it is not, I don't know why and I can think of no substantial reason for that.
The mouse surely eliminates unwanted right button clicks but it is so wide that a 2 year old kid is unable to get any kind of grip around it. Consequently, the little one was using it rotated 90 degrees so that she could grasp it at least somewhat. Her hand is, however, big enough to get a good grip on the 2-button version and she uses that one properly.
Furthermore, this button actually has two mechanical switches under the big green button and so it does not train proper tactile feedback either. It is very annoying to use for me personally for that very reason -- you get sometimes one sometime two "clicks", sometimes on the left sometimes on the right.
Bottom line: this was helpful for about 2 weeks while the 2-year old was getting used to the pointing experience. The 4-year-old complained about its crappy clicking. It was replaced with the 2-button version and after a brief (a couple of hours) adjustment period the 2-year-old was not having issues with the right button. There are also utilities to kill right click that we use from time to time for more energetic games.
Oddly, this product seems to be targeted at older kids with large hands that can't manage the right button.
So far we are happy with this product!
