About the Author
Born and raised in rural Idaho, Larry’s childhood on the family farm was rich in work, as well as opportunities to explore the natural world. What was missing, was exposure to the broader world, lying somewhere beyond the fence line of the farm. All that changed as he learned to read on his own. Although farm life left little time for reading, stolen hours between chores, or when he was supposed to be asleep at night, were spent devouring every book he could get his hands on. If the author could describe it, Larry could imagine it, and together they traveled around the world, across the solar system, and on to the stars beyond. Growing up in the midst of the space race and triumphant moon landing, Larry was drawn to the technical disciplines. He amassed decades of technical writing before embarking on his own adventure, writing his first novel. You can find out more about Larry and his current projects at LarryCMurray.com.

It took me back to my younger days of working with my father and also my grandfather in Wyoming. The lessons that they taught me working at home and on the farm. I could picture the farm and milking barn and the land around the Snake River of Idaho. The lessons learned has stayed with me. I hope that I have passed these lessons on to my children.
I have recommended the book to my children and recommend it to all.
My wife writes:
I absolutely loved this tender book and it's characters. There are many lessons of life, courage, stamina, true principles, hope, and love portrayed in this book.
It warmed my heart how an older grieving man reached out to a family in need, and they in turn helped heal his lonely saddened heart.
Great books like this, can help us restore our families with a lot of values, love, and kindness that tends to get lost in today's world.
I take my hat off to the author, Larry Murray for a wonderful, touching write.
Looking forward to your next book.
