I am a big fan of "The Chew". It is a program that I record and look forward to in the evenings when I watch television. This book is divided by the seasons and features recipes from each of the hosts. Every recipe has an indicator bar that denotes cooking time, skill level, prep time and cost. Icons indicate whether a recipe is "Light & Healthy", "Simple Italian", "Viewer's Choice", "Two-Fer (Two Meals in One)", "5-in-5" (5 ingredients in 5 minutes), "Kid Friendly" or "Cocktail". Most (but not all) feature a photo. The book also has interviews with the hosts, photos of celebrity guests on the show and sections about the holidays, entertaining, etc.

I purchased the book new from Amazon.
I gave it 5 stars because she loves the show, people, and recipes. Keep in mind this is not a 'traditional' type recipe book with an index and nothing but recipes organized in a methodical way.
This book tries to capture the way the show is on air..... with the anecdotes, stories, pictures, and chefs' interactions. If you are looking strictly for a recipe book, you ''may'' be disappointed. I gave it 5 stars because I think it does capture what the entire show is about... people, stories, and food.
The cookbook is fantastic! It's filled with every recipe they made during the season, there are all kinds of tips and tricks and interesting things to read inside. Each recipe tells you which chef cooked or created it.
This was a Christmas gift for my husband and he thought it was one of his best gifts of the season. Both of us will be using this alone and together to plan meals. I hope for a second cookbook from The Chew, I already know we'll buy it.
The Book: It has a great layout, all of the pictures are fun & the recipes are easy to follow.
If you're a fan of the show, I highly recommend this. I'd done quite a bit of searching to get the best price & in the end, I went with amazon.
This book is just us much fun ,it is like being there .
I buy cookbooks for inspiration and entertainment .
This cookbook satisfies both of it . I cooked Sunday
dinner , when I was 11 , so I can look at recipes and
tell , what the food tastes like and add things to make it
taste better , It wouldn't be nessecary with this
book . People shouldn't be afraid of using this book .
Please buy it and enjoy It!
