An all natural product your dog will love. Dogs instinctively love to chew on these sliced cow hooves. They are a great method of gum exercise and dental hygiene. Bulk packs are packaged by weight, quantities may vary.

In any case, don't let dogs have these unsupervised, especially larger dogs or heavy chewers.
These hooves are $1.50-$2.00 at Petsmart. I received about 40 hooves in the box.
40 X 1.50 = $60.
So right there, you should already be clicking BUY.
But if you need more, here is it.
They last! My Puppy is still on his first 4 I set out for him and I ordered these a month before I wrote this review. These are going to last me for YEARS. (I hope they dont go bad)
The smell is a little strong once he gets really chewing, and they are fresh, but so far, NO stains on the carpet, as with other chew toys. And he REALLY loves them.
My new puppy was chewing on wooden furniture legs, metal furniture legs, whatever he could get his mouth on. I set 4 of these things around the house, and he now seeks them out when he needs to chew.
He's happy, I'm happy. What more do you need from Cow Hooves?
Pros) They are all natural. We make sure they are from USA. But the dogs love them and can chew for hours. The hooves are great distractions rather than them getting into mischief or destruction. Plus for nervous (even storm anxiety) dogs, it focuses their attention on something constructive rather than their fears. We believe that cow hoof chews are the #1 best chew for dogs.
Cons) They do stink. (It's worth it for contented dogs.)
The Jones Natural Chews Hooves came in yesterday and are as good as they get. They are thick hooves which make for long chewing. (Thin hooves go quick plus can be sharp on the dog's gums.) Our 2 Goldens took to them immediately with 2 paws up. (They don't have thumbs.)
Why not 5 Stars? I almost gave it less than this but am feeling generous. They would have gotten 5 stars if they had shipped 10 pounds as advertised. After reading some other reviews that said they didn't get quite 10 lbs. - the first thing I did was pull out our shipping scale - counted and weighed the contents. We received 47 hooves at 9.4 pounds. The hooves were large and full - so I figure only 3 more would have been a full 10 pounds.
I would happily raise this to five for a full 10 pounds.
EDIT - June 22, 2015
II wrote to the company about the discrepancy in weight; here's their reply: "we do apologize per manufacture they say they're approximately 10 pounds. Quantity may vary. Thank You, Pet Supplies Delivered" I looked again and do not see anywhere saying "approximately 10 pounds". The headline clearly says 10 lbs.
Based on the fact that the hooves and value are 5 stars; I will up my review from 3 to 5.
CONCLUSION, the hooves are high quality and still a good value. I will buy again. I just wish the write up was more accurate - or better yet that they shipped an honest weight.
Update: One of my dogs broke a tooth on these (cost $450 to get it pulled!) so I don't give them out anymore. Unfortunate, since they were well enjoyed.
