This Bulb is great for replacing your standard 12V Halogen spotlight. Be aware that this product is suppossed to have quality Bridgelux LED's and not epistar or other alternative LED's (blue hue is indication that the LED's are not Bridgelux). The LED Bulb will direct light more accurate instead of spreading the light in any direction and the light seems amazing clean and deliberate compared to halogen or other traditional type bulb. It will last five times longer and are shock resistant. In case you drop the bulb it will likely still work. The bulb will not generate UV and heat so you will avoid burns from touching the bulb. The bulb therefore will not melt your lighting fixture or discolor it. The bulb has a 30 degree spread (beam angle), 7000K color temperature (cool white) and 440 Lumen light output. This bulb have 4 high powered individual Bridgelux LED pieces. The light bulb will unfortunately not work in all 12V power sources and you may have to replace the transformer/adaptor main unit if it has a problem with low load (it may work if you leave one halogen bulb to carry some load). The bulbs application is perfect for home, restaurants, shops, office, etc. Also available in color temperatures warm 3200K. Note that the bulb is slightly taller than a standard halogen bulb.

My initial impression was very positive. They replaced the halogens with no problem, and the cool (7000K) light brightened the dark space up beautifully.
However they started dying after 3 months of not very intensive usage. Now, 3 1/2 months after installing, only 3 out of the original 8 are still working.
I raised this with Amazon Customer Service who promptly refunded me for all 8.
Some quick internet research seems to confirm that in this case "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is": these bulbs are much less expensive than similar bulbs from reputable makers like FEIT, etc. However apparently there are large differences in the quality of the LED chips. There is a lot of substandard stuff coming out of China, (where these are sourced), and they just are not reliable.
Don't waste time with these bulbs.
According to Moto lights, a standard Halogen 35 Watt MR-16 puts out around 7,000 lumens and a standard 3.2 watt MR-16 LED puts out about 100 lumens. While these state they put out around 440 lumens, I don't know how to measure the difference, but they are clearly much much brighter than the standard LED. After installing them and walking 20 feet away when looking at the bike, it was impossible to suffer from inattentional blindness, the bike just blazed at us. A caveat - try to avoid looking at the light from the front up close; it took a while for my eyes to readjust from the after-image burned onto my retina as I walked towards them at night.
By reducing from combined 70 Watt (2-35 W halogen bulbs) to 8 watt (2-4 W LED) reduced the load on the 12V battery from 5.8 Amps to .7 amps allowing more power for ABS to function on demand as required.
NOT recommended. Personally I am committed to replacing the dozens of hot-halogen bulbs I have with cooler, more efficient LEDs. So I bought a number of these to try out different locations around the house. I wanted to have some on hand to replace halogens as they died but also replaced some strategic halogens immediately. For the preemptive replacements I found one of the 6 I replaced 1 didn't work. Ok, not good but I didn't get too upset (given the lower cost of these units). Then as later replacements were put in from the small stock I bought from this company - one after another turned out to be duds. Worse, 2 of the original 6 have since died (well one died the other just started to blink off and on all the time - so could not be used.)
So, I wrote to the company to see if this was considered normal - no reply. (Actually no reply twice, as I wrote twice!) For those that worked - fine , they work. And they were a good price. But if the true price is that that a 50% failure rate is to be expected - then we ought to be told that. For me - I will shop elsewhere - I suggest you do too.....
I tested this one before installing it; it draws 0.35A at 12V (~4W) and is very bright. But it arrived with no documentation and no number on the bulb, and it is about 1/2" longer than any other MR16 LED bulb that I've ever seen, so it doesn't fit my fixture. I'm also pitching this thing and trying a Torchstar equivalent.
Be advised that the two examples I received had no external markings whatsover to indicate their voltage requirements, power consumption, light output, manufacturer, country of origin, model number, or underwriting status. If those things matter to you, look elsewhere.
One more interesting note: The package had a manifest on the outside that labeled its contents as phone parts. Totally false! I have to wonder for whose benefit that deception was.
