Over the last year I decided to start trying out different needle brands. I'd always just used whatever was cheapest at the local arts and crafts store. I thought, they're just needles, what's the difference? SO MUCH DIFFERENCE!
This was the first nicer brand I tried and within a couple stitches I was completely disabused of the idea that all needles are created equal. The yarn slides so easily over the needles. The joins are smooth, no fighting to jam stitches onto the needles, and the long, pointy tips stick into stitches so easily. I've tried a couple brands now and these are still by far my favorite. For the most part I knit socks and shawls in around fingering-weight yarns. I will say that these needles are very slippery and I will periodically drop stitches if I'm not paying attention. Overall though, for me, occasionally having to patch up a boo boo is well worth how enjoyable I find knitting with them as I really like being able to effortlessly slide stitches around. I also really like the cables on these. It's a steel (?) cable tightly covered in plastic. They're fairly flexible, I've done two socks at once using magic loop method on 32" cable with no problem, but don't have memory so they're never trying to coil up.
I think if you like slippery needles, knitting fast, and/or knitting lace etc. that requires catching multiple stitches these are well worth a try!

Best needles!
I usually like to use bamboo knitting needles but when the project calls for smaller needles you gotta go metal. I broke a pair of 3.5mm bamboo once, so I have these. The yarn smoothly moves along these needles. They are comfortable as well! Very lightweight but sturdy!

Makes magic loop so much easier!

I am a new knitter and I have an interchangeable set of needles that I love for hats and other things. I decided to try using it for the magic loop and it was a mess. The loops got caught on the join constantly. So I decided to try this one and it’s so much more enjoyable now. The loops just slide right on without a fuss. The only thing is I think I’ll do 40” for my next set to give myself a little extra room. I need the size 1 for fingering weight socks. This is the size 3.
