I love circular needles but hate, hate, hate that the yarn gets stuck and eventually frayed at the connection between needle and the wire. Oh, and tangleing. Hate that, too. THIS AND ONLY THIS kind of circular needle is the ONLY one I have used (and keep buying) that cures both issues. Yarn doesn't catch because it is SMOOTH connection. And wire doesn't twist up. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I have not and will not try the screw in ones this brand also has because when I find exactly what I want, I stick with it. Why fix what isn't broke?!

I knit almost exclusively with circular needles and I believe I've probably tried every brand of circular needles that exist. ChiaoGoo are my favorite. The cable is very flexible and smooth, which is very important especially when knitting using the magic loop method. The transition from cable to needle is smooth as well--no ridge to catch fine yarn. The needles are smooth and the tip not too sharp and not too dull. I highly recommend ChiaoGoo.

I started knitting again recently and was a novice to begin with. I’m knitting a dish cloth as my first project back and the tip of my 4mm varnished wood circular knitting needle from my set broke off. In my defense, I’m using a textured cotton yarn that kept snagging on itself at the stitching. Anyway, I watched a video from Kutovakika and she highly recommended these from their smooth knitting for continental knitting and the circular wire doesn’t twist. Wow, what an incredible replacement. Needless to say, I’ll be replacing all my needles at each project with these! They’re so smooth, but not too slick for beginner knitters where you’d lose control of the stitches. Highly recommend!
