Wow! Thanks for nothing! Not everybody wants digital copies of crap! I wanted the case in came in as well! Just as another said! "No Keepsake" Worst move ever! This is massive disrespect to the 2012-2013 season for the Blackhawks.

I've been waiting for this video since the hawks won the cup. I heard it was out and went to the store and looked like an idiot. as much as i'm curious to see it, I don't think i'll even bother. if they release a hard copy, i'll be the first in line. what an awful, awful idea. this format might have been a nice alternative, but not as an exclusive format. shame on the league, team and all companies involved for letting this happen. I could download and watch it just fine if I wanted to, but sometimes principles are more important. For now, i'll boycott this item and get the book instead. awful, awful idea.

I went to download this video and you can't watch it anywhere but your computer! I HATE that there is no hard copy, you can't burn a DVD to watch it either. I feel like i've wasted my money because I can't watch it on my own TV with my family. Amazon has failed on this one and I'm very DISSATISFIED with my purchase! I don't have a HDMI cable that will connect up to my computer which would enable me to watch the video. I'm a HUGE hawks fan and I'm so upset that this was the way they decided to release the video. I guess technology has to ruin everything. I would have rather preordered a hard copy and waited my turn to recieve the DVD! iTunes only has an SD version, otherwise i would have downloaded it there. This is completely rediculous. DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY IF YOU WANTED SOMETHING TO HOLD ON TO.

I do not own this video and I will not own this video via electronic media. One of the things about a keepsake is that it is tangible. You can touch it, look at it. I have no interest in buying a special format video that I can't watch on my big screen TV.

Do the people that make these decisions realize that there are a lot of fans that own a TV? I don't watch the season on my phone, so why would I want a recap of one of the best seasons ever (for the Blackkhawks) to be so much smaller than life?

I don't own a smartphone. I own zero Amazon devices and I don't use iTunes any more.

I "bought" a movie on iTunes once before. And somehow, the movie studio decided that it should no longer be available, and it disappeared out of iTunes. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

I won't be fooled again.

IMO, either make the video on physical media (as a KEEPSAKE) or don't sell the video at all.

FYI, The Blackhawks have put together their own video and book. You can find it here:

I'm not thrilled about having to buy this video in a locked-down format opposed to the previously fine and great DVD or Blu-Ray versions. I'm sure many people would prefer it physically, especially those outside of the US, but for those of us "lucky" enough to be able to pay for a temporarily accessed digital copy that for the moment works on a few non-Amazon devices (which can change in the future, according to the license agreement), I guess this will do for now.

It's 1 star for Amazon's reluctance to open up their android app on anything buy a few Google TV devices and their own hardware. And 1 star for the NHL/Blackhawks for making this locked down system the only way to watch this (Or Apple or Sony, which are the same problem but worse).

The quality and content are fine, when I'm able to view it on a not always convenient device or place that Amazon has allowed me to view it on. Shame I couldn't also buy it physically to complement the experience and give me more freedom, and futureproof the watchability. In 10 years will Amazon let me watch this video when I want to show my kids? What if I need Amazon Home Broadband service to watch it and I can't get it in my neighborhood? They've already excluded the majority of phones out there, I'm sure they won't be MORE open in the future.

I wish I could leave this review without any stars because I'm so pissed about the fact that this is only available on Amazon Instant Video. In 2010 I purchased both of the Blackhawks' Championship videos and still watch them but I doubt I'll watch this more than once. The fact that this isn't available as a hard copy is ridiculous. The NHL should be ashamed that they were so cheap that they thought that this was a good idea. That's fine if they wanted to produce an instant video option but they absolutely needed to also produce a hard copy one. I can only hope that the Blackhawks will remedy this fact and produce something that follows along on their run through the playoffs on their way to the Cup.

Do better NHL, do better!

The decision to offer the championship recap as an online product only was a big disappointment. I bought multiple copies of the 2010 STanley Cup DVD but I am refusing to purchase the 2013 Cup Instant Video. The Blackhawks will soon be selling their own DVD, "17 Seconds," and I am purchasing that instead. For something as important as the championship, a video season celebration should be sold as a tangible product that one can keep for years and years. Who wants to watch a hockey game on an iPhone where the puck is the size of a dot? As usual the NHL made a major marketing mistake. Everyone who disagrees with the refusal to offer a DVD product should boycott the Instant Video in hopes of persuading the NHL to release a DVD version.
