Great show! So addicting.

Do you like watching doctors violate their Hippocratic oaths? Do you, like me, love watching crappy medical shows where nurses and doctors are not bound by silly laws like HIPAA and respiratory therapists apparently don’t exist? Do you love hearing TV doctors confuse antidepressants with heart medications? Then you will love this ridiculous show that for some reason, I watched all the way through. I give it 4 stars for entertainment purposes, and 0 stars for medical accuracy.

I enjoy all of the Chicago series- Fire and PD....wasn't too sure about this one (Med) but after watching for awhile I find it a little too soft, meaning that there are tough situations that are handled without undo catastrophe. I will continue to watch though, because as a 30+ year RN who worked in situations much like the chaos in "Code Black", I find that most of the time the nursing roles in Chicago Med are closer to reality than in most other medically-oriented shows......meaning that experienced trauma and ER nurses do NOT take crap from physicians, and are far more likely to call the doc out when s/he is wrong than just 'take orders'........for that reason alone, I will continue to watch. The best experiences I had working in such stressful environments were when I was working as an egalitarian physician-nurse team member on a really bad trauma, and the most excellent physicians always asked my opinion as well as their own colleagues....Chicago med has a way to go but certainly has a good start..

I plan to order all of Season 1. I have Prime and wonder why it is still so expensive to order TV programs which are so old?

Some fairly mediocre acting with a number of characters main and supporting. some good stories for the guys and the girls. If you're a clinician, you will pick up on A LOT of errors in practice. This show does have a bit more gore to it showing graphical wounds and such which i like. But the execution of the whole thing just gets to me. im a bit upset that i paid for the season. Shows like this should really invest in a number of clinician consultants to help the realism. Don't just put out a medical tv show to do it, do it right. of all the ED's I've worked at, none have a psych consultant as integrated in the care as this show does. but if they were like the psych doc here, I'd be all for it.

Reminded me a little of ER, and that was one of my favorite shows. I also watch Saving Hope, so if you like hospital shows where the nurses are all patients are always different, but the doctors and nurses are always the same and you get to know them as doctors as well as people, then you will love this show. the only episode I didn't care for was the crossover from Chicago PD, because I don't watch that and now I don't know the ending.

It certainly isn't Grey"s Anatomy. Although there are a lot of really good actors in this show something about it was very B-rated(ish). At first I thought it was horrible acting but about 15 min. into the first episode I realized that it wasnt the acting but instead it was the very bad writing. It wasn't the actors fault (actually for a few of them it was) that they seemed awkward and medically unprofessional it was the horribly written script that they had to work with. I guess it may have been a really bad idea to watch Greys Anatomy (best medical show ever!) and then immediately afterwards try watching an episode of this show. Perhaps on its own I might have liked it more but compared to G.A. I found this show to be a little cheesy and the dialogue at times was almost laughable. It seemed as if they were just throwing medical terms randomly into the conversations just to prove that someone had actually researched a little medical terminology before writing the script.

Not Grey’s Anatomy which it what I compared it to at first, but it held its own.
