The packaging is misleading. It makes it seem like you're getting 25 different player cards but you actually only get 13. Don't get this item if you are looking for the entire World Series Chicago Cubs team.

Topps' Chicago Cubs 2016 Topps Baseball World Series Champions Box Set is a nice keepsake, but one that is perhaps better suited to the hardcore baseball card collector than to the casual fan seeking memorabilia from the Cubs' 2016 season.
One might expect such a set to contain cards of the players on the 2016 Cubs roster and manager Joe Maddon, but that's not the case here. Instead, it contains multiple cards of star players including Jake Arrieta, Kris Bryant, Addison Russell, Aroldis Chapman and David Ross. For better or for worse, these are the players whose cards will command the highest resale value on the collector market should the owner wish to eventually break up this 25-card set. (Having a card of Tommy La Stella, for instance, would be nice for keepsake purposes, but his card would probably never command more than pocket change on that market.)
The set contains two varieties of cards for those star players. One is a standard card with a back that includes the usual vital statistics-such as height, weight, birthdate, hometown, and how the Cubs acquired said player-and the player's complete major league batting/pitching record. The backs of the set's other cards contains highlights and box scoresfrom specific games of the 2016 World Series against the American League champion Cleveland Indians.
Individual cards themselves are very attractive. Card designs are clean and simple, with players' names, position and team, as well as either a Cubs or a World Series logo at the bottom. Photographs are crisp and sharp; colors are bright and vivid. The card stock Topps uses isn't the cheap cardboard that characterized sports cards of days past, but rather a glossy stock similar to paperback book covers that allows for the high-quality reproduction described above.
The Cubs 2016 Topps Baseball World Series Champions Box Set may not be what many customers might expect, but it's still well worth purchasing.

Glad I opened the boxes

Bought a couple of these boxes expecting to keep one sealed and have one complete set for the binder. Turns out, there are variations of select cards. Glad I opened the boxes. So far I have found 36 different cards from a 25 card checklist... Little disappointed with the player selection however it is a neat set for the price. The Topps Now set has a better player selection and the cards are superior to this. Bottom line: Good entry level set for a young collector.
