A must have! I did much looking around, even went to a few stores. I like to get a hands on feel when it comes to my childrens safety. An every one I came across had minimal padding for the kids to sit on . Lets face it if I wont sit on it I sure wont make my kids sit on it . Where we like to go for trips during the summers and Christmas light rides during christmas time. Who wants to sit on dense plastic for hours at a time (not I) . This one was a little pricier when it came to boosters without back support but with that added price I found a much thicker softer pad for their little butts. The nice design makes for easy buckling and unbuckling. The arm supports are strong supporting for the kids active movment in those seats( becuase what kid actually sits still in their chairs). The should strap to lower the belt across the chest is a nice feature .Not sure why there are two cupholders, how many beverages does one need? (haha). I would have given it a 5 star if they had provided an ancor system as to prevent the booster from sliding across the seats. For me that added stability would make a world of difference in a time of need if one was to ever arise. Other then that one thing I am very pleased with my purchase

I am a firefighter and certified car seat technician so even the best car seat is not good enough for my boys. When I found this product I searched on numerous car seat safety websites regarding this booster seat. 5 stars across the board!!! Easy and safe latch system installation (preventing back injuries from other movable boosters), memory foam like seats for comfort, collapsible cup holders, and arm rests the add comfort. The best part is the pull of a lever and it unlatches making the car switch process a breeze! This is a must buy, worth the money, and the safest backless booster on the market!

If I could give this product a 10 star review I would! My son is 11.5 years old (going to be 12 in February) ... yes y’all read that right 11 going to be 12. He is 4’8 & ranges btw 78-81 lbs ... needless to say he is and I are beyond pleased with this product. His positives (6th grader) doesn’t look like a “baby” seat , comfy memory foam butt pad, leather arm and perfect sized cup holders - my positives - That he is safe ! That there is NO fight on using it , latch system keeping seat snug & secure , lightweight and so easy to install and remove if you need seat for adult & one more feature genuinely love that it matches car decor / simple plain black - wish the whole thing was in black or black and charcoal vs gold but amazing product and love that it is so much more adaptable for a middle schooler than other boosters on the market ... (that we have tried and returned)

Defective After Less Than ONE MONTH!

One of the LATCH hooks broke after less than a month of use! Removed this seat from the car ONCE and it failed to work properly the second time the LATCH was used. I will be using a defective car seat for my child until the Graco one I ordered to replace it is delivered. This is my first, and last Chicco product as I will not trust my child’s safety to a booster seat that breaks after a couple weeks of extremely gentle use! Hoping the company will offer a full refund, as I don’t find this product reliable enough to replace with an identical item!

Good Car Seat But Wish I Bought The Clip Version

I was looking for a booster seat to use on vacation. Up until now, my son has been quite comfy in his toddler/booster combo with the full back so I've had no reason to move to a booster since his current seat can go with up all the way until he can go without a booster at all. But when it came time to travel, I knew I needed something easier to lug around. I settled on this car seat because it looked cushy for my son's comfort and I liked that it had a carry handle since I'd be lugging it through airports. I didn't find out until after purchasing that there's the exact same booster but with clips that keep it in place and attach to the latches in your car. Overall this booster is fine and was great for traveling - lightweight and portable, but if I had to buy again, would definitely want the clip version as this seat can move around a little too much for my comfort.
