It doesn't make sense to me why, if the target population is people with difficulty reading small print, why the publisher didn't think of it and make it easier to read with more robust print and better contrast. The book is attractive and the content is probably great BUT without better contrast it is useless for people like my mother. I am returning the book.
FYI-Readers Digest also puts out a large print edition which I have also ordered for her and think like the NY Times publication, they will do a better job. An aside for people going through this with elderly parents- we have already increased the wattage of light bulbs which worked for awhile and she was able to read a normal newspaper. .
Just normal print, very disappointed as this was Mother's Day gift, it is being returned.
