and the portrayals of what life is like in each country.
Now as an adult my regret is that of all the countries presented-
(Holland, Japan, Norway, Mexico, Thailand, China, Spain, Hawaii.)
Africa isn't portrayed.
I realize that this is an old book (made in 1960) and is in fact
a version of an eave older book (made in 36). But it still bothers

I loved reading this book as a child and I still think that it is
a great one to read to children. As long as there are explanations
given of how long ago this book was written and how many atitudes
have changed since then.
