The music is composed and performed by Hilmar Orn Hilmarson (HOH) from Island and some of the songs are also avalible with fine lyrics on the Current 93 album "Island". The songs are as beautiful as anything ever gets. Just try the samples and you will get a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about. Pure love. Pure instrumental beauty.

I first heard of Hilmar Orn Hilmarsson through the Angels of the Universe Soundtrack. I liked it so much that I had to go online and find more from him. It's too bad he's not as well known and these two albums are the only ones I've found. The soundtrack pretty much has the same tone as the other (quiet, haunting, sad violins cutting through) except maybe a bit darker. My favorite track is Coffin. I wish I could see these films though. I love hearing this new type of modern classical music. Much like Harold Budd is doing.
