I love how cute this is and it works great. I just hate if you have a big bottle of wine it doesn’t reach all the way to the bottom no it won’t chill. This is the only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star but perfect for normal bottle of wine.

This is great! I thought it was a silly gift for myself but I like white wine and thought I'd give it a try. But I've only used it so far on freshly squeezed orange juice that I didn't have time to chill. And it worked. I squeeze juice daily and put it into thin, tall 8 oz jars. The juice was chilled in just a few minutes. I'll be buying a few more to keep white wine chilled in the summer. It's hot in Philadelphia and I may need to switch it after 30 minutes or so to keep the wine chilled. Wonderful item that's not so silly after all!!!

I know it should be obvious but it wasn’t to me. Only put this in if you have already poured a glass of wine - or else it over flows. I was planning to use this to keep wine chilled when going to a dinner party and being able to use it right Away. Still can but I would have to drink some before I go. Then call an Uber....

Calling this a chiller stick is a bit misleading

It is just a steel pipe that you put in the freezer. It works decent with a bottle that is already cold, as it will extend the time it takes for the bottle to return to room temperature. No longer needing a tray of ice to store the bottle in or putting ice in the beverage makes the stick a very good alternative.

With a room temperature bottle, this will cool it for about 5 minutes. Kinda useless, however, I doubt this scenario is what the item is meant for.

Another concern is that I had some trouble screwing in the spout after freezing the stick. I had to run some warm water onto a napkin and wipe inside the hole to get it to screw on.

Be sure to pour some wine before putting it in to account for displacement. It seems too short. Cannot chill, when there’s only 2” left in the bottle. Lastly, the pour spout pours very slowly

It makes very little difference to a room temperature bottle of wine. 🤨 The first time, the metal unit had been in the freezer 2-3 hours. The second time, the metal unit had been in the freezer for days.
