Purchased for family wedding.
Purchased to be worn with black lace dress.
The shoe is beautiful but I had to return them for 2 reasons. The 1st reason is they run small so I suggest you size up at least 1/2 a size. I normally wear an 8.5 and ordered an 8.5 and they were very tight so I'd need a 9 in these for sure. Keep in mind I loved them so much I figured I could " work " with the tightness of them and loosen them up wearing them around the house for a few days. I was willing to suffer through the event I bought these for because I liked them that much ! However, the lace bow on right shoe was ripped and was very noticeable while looking down at the shoe. Broke my heart to have to return these.
My issue is that they appear to have been previously worn! Not heavily worn, but the soles are dingy and one shoe has a black mark on the side. The problem is that I apparently can't get a replacement pair; they're out of stock. So do I keep a worn pair or risk the return and perhaps not be able to replace them before my wedding? Ack!! I'm rating them highly regardless of the less-than-perfect condition, but heck, they were cheap, so...whatevs, I guess. :/
However, that wasn't the real problem. When I tried them on, they pinched and twisted my foot into an awkward position, making my toes go numb almost immediately. I couldn't wear them. They may have broken in after awhile, but it just wasn't worth the pain to me, and I knew I'd be on my feet for many hours that day, so opted for another shoe that was comfortable right away.
Other than the fit issue this is a beautiful shoe and very good quality for the price.
