Working Together and Achieving Success

Some important ingredients for a successful book for children are: High Interest, endearing Characters that children can relate to (be it of the two legged or four legged variety), Values to be learned, an interesting Setting and a captivating Ending where youngsters want to read more!
In my humble opinion, Chipmunk Champs Buddy and Swifty embody all of these elements.
While reading this little, but mighty book, I, although not a child, loved how these two little Critters interacted with one another in their scenic environment. Their Friendship, Resourcefulness, Team Spirit, and Problem Solving efforts, to mention a few, made me wish that us Folks who face many challenges on a daily basis would take example from these two precocious characters and Work Together for the Greater Good of ALL!

Charming chipmunks, charming story

This little book made me smile. Full disclosure: the author is a friend and former colleague. But this is a delightful tale inspired by a trip to the Poconos with his family.

This is a fun story and a cute book about chipmunk friends Buddy and Swifty and their antics in life. I would have liked to see more colorful pictures to help keep children engaged, but feel this is a fun story for kids to read or even better to share with parents and grandparents and read out loud. I think the author knows what children like and has delivered a fun story.
