A quick summary of my PC:
Win 7 (64-bit), Intel Core i5 2500k, 8Gb DDR3, Asus P8Z68-V LX Motherboard

First off, I did not realize how small this hub would be until I saw it first hand. This hub is tiny! It's the size of a credit card and very thin (0.5 inch). I didn't have high hopes for this hub because of it's small size, but I was ready to be proven wrong. My motherboard only has 2 USB 3.0 ports, so I was looking to expand. With this hub, I was able to get 4 more USB 3.0 ports without taking a lot of space on my desk.
Installation was a breeze, no drivers needed since the hub is truly plug-and-play.

I stress tested the hub with 2x USB 3.0 hard drives and 2x USB 2.0 flash drives. I ran a CrystalDiskMark benchmark on all the devices simultaneously to see if the hub would slow down the devices when it was fully loaded. If you look at the picture I uploaded, you will see that the hub was able to keep up with all 4 devices and managed to not slow them down one bit.

Overall, I am really impressed with this hub for it's performance, size, and price. I would easily recommend it to anyone looking for USB 3.0 Hub.

I am impressed with this USB 3.0 hub. I plugged it into my retina MacBook Pro, and then plugged in a bunch of USB 2.0 peripherals (keyboard, mouse, printer) and a bus-powered USB 3.0 WD Passport drive. Originally I had the external power supply plugged into the hub, but I discovered that the WD hard drive didn't spin down, even when my computer was unplugged from the hub. So I disconnected the power supply, plugged the hub back into my Mac, and the WD drive worked fine (as well as all the other peripherals). Even better, the WD drive sleeps properly with and without the computer connected.

I received the hub and installed it on my router to be able to use more that one 3.0 drive connected to my D-Link DIR-857. When I unpacked the item, the plug had something loose inside and did not want to use it in case it could cause a short circuit. I used another plug I had and connected the hub to the electrical outlet.

I plugged the 3.0 cable to my router and my 3 drives to the hub. I rebooted everything and as soon as it booted up, all the drives were shown as active on the router. Now I can access the drive for movies, the drive for music, and the drive for data all at once without having to plug and unplug one to connect another one. I stream regular and 3D movies without problems.

I am not sure why other people state that they have problems with optical mice connected or with external hard drives (I have 3 not even connected directly to my computer; I run them over my network and the speed is amazing). I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit with SP1.

Update - October 12

My router allows me to connect remotely over a secure connection to the hard drive connected directly to it. This creates a cloud drive.

Having said that, I found out yesterday an additional perk from installing this hub. When I went to access the data drive over the internet from a hotel, I discovered that all 3 drives were shown on the screen. I tried to play a movie and worked awesomely! I also tired the music drive and no problem.

I accessed the drives from my BlackBerry PayBook and was also able to play movies and music from each drive beside being able to access the data drive.

I connect my PlayBook to the bluetooth in my car. Today I drove down from Santa Barbara to San Diego listening to music stored in my drive over the internet. I am impressed!

Uspeed 4 Port USB 3.0 Hub with USB 3.0 Cable and AC Adapter Backward Compatible with USB 2.0

I just recently bought a MacBook Pro Retina and it only has two USB ports and I was in need of more. The Uspeed hub was perfect because I was looking for something where all the plugs were in the back. It helps with corralling the mess of cords and just looks cleaner overall. Everything works out well. Only thing to note is that the blue LEDs can be bright. There are five of them on the hub itself and one more on the plug. If this is an issue, you can easily fix it with a little bit of tape to cover up the LED.

Otherwise, it's pretty much perfect.

Hooking up this hub was easy, and my Win7 64 Home Premium OS installed the drivers automatically. The hub functions fine. With power being supplied by its AC adapter, I plugged two small cooling fans into one of the 4 ports and it powered both fans fine. That was actually the main reason I bought this. It is small, which is an advantage, but at the same time, my only complaint is that the 4 ports are so close together that when I plugged in a TV tuner (which is a bit wide), it made both of the ports on either side of it unavailable because they were partially obstructed (I could not plug any other USB device into them). So, in essence, I wound up only being able to use 2 of the 4 ports. If you used only standard, small USB connectors, you should be able to use all 4 ports. The little blue LEDs are bright (I covered them up with a piece of felt because they shined on the wall right next to the hub and were a bit distracting at night).
