Made of 100% Solid rubber it is normal to have a light rubber smell. Simply put the Rubber Jack pad near a ventilated place for a period of time.

I really like how these were designed. They fit perfectly and stay in place! Definitely a must have if you have a Model 3. Either you do your own tire rotation or you take it to a tire store, some of them either use cheap ones that might damage your battery or might not have them at all.

Maybe these jack pads work for other Tesla models, but with my Model X, they did not stay in place at all. They fall straight out. That makes these too cumbersome to use since you have to make sure they are lined up and be careful getting the nubs into the holes. I'd be worried about them not being lined up and either breaking or doing damage to the car. It's really too bad since I liked the fact that it came with a nice case.

The product received was used. There were greasy fingerprints, a gash, and lots of scuffs on the pucks. Clears signs of a used product. Beware.

*EDIT* the company reached out. Turns out it was an issue with amazon fulfillment facility and QC with returned products. I was sent a brand new set from the company. Also, there is a smell, but not as bad as the first set I got. The new set has no greasy residue and is definitely brand new. Will update post if/when product is used.

Jack pads are a dime a dozen, but these are hands down the best

Many of the jack pads that you find here or on eBay are basically hockey pucks with a rubber grommet attached. These seem to be more solid. Also, having a carrying case is very nice, as I can just store them in the frunk and they won't roll around. Finally, they have a retainer that ensures they stay in chassis hole by the battery, you don't have to fiddle with a jack and ensure the pad is just so.

The carrying case is great. The jack pads themselves are comparable to others we've seen. The cost was reasonable. The only downside was the horrible smell. We cannot put them in the car yet. We are letting them off gas in our garage attic. Eventually we'll be able to put them in the car.

Very useful to have for your Model Y when you can't get Tesla Roadside Service and must use AAA or CAA and they have to use a regular Jack to change a tire or when you have to go to a non-Tesla garage Service Centre. These pucks help protect the underside of your Tesla.
