I find it easier to read on the Kindle because of the built in dictionary and highlighter. I have found that I absorb more of the technical data if I highlight it as I go along. It seems to allow me time for the information to soak in.
They ought to make a textbook out of it and make it mandatory for High School General Science 101. Teach 'em early and maybe there wouldn't be an obese problem.
For sure, anyone considering dieting ought to read it before they indulge in the fad diets.
Do yourself a favor, take the time and READ IT! If you only read a couple of pages a day, it'll be worth it.
Some of his points are:

Dietary saturated fat from meats is necessary and won't lead to heart disease.
Some vegetable unsaturated fats (Omega 3 and 6) are necessary
Vegetable trans fats, fried foods and hydrogenated fats will kill you. (animal trans fats are good).
Excess vitamin D supplementation will clot the arteries with calcium.

Vitamin supplements aren't necessary with a healthy diet.
There's also a lot more information in this book. If you want to be researching or active and alive at 99 years of age, you will enjoy this book.
I exercise at least 4 times a week, and try to eat a healthy diet, normal BMI, hence the frustration in learning that my cholesterol level was high. I was on a mission.
Fred Kummerow's book explained all the science, research, data and theories concerning heart disease. I am grateful to him, and his life long research. His advice makes sense to me. In fact I'm going to pass his book on to my doctor as she still thinks that by not eating foods that contain cholesterol, you will bring down the numbers.
