Great songs, poor audio quality
on January 20, 2013
When my twin boys were about 8mo old they loved (and still do!!!) Genevieve and DC. No matter what they were doing they would immediately stop and rush to the tv when they heard the train whistle blow. A friend found this dvd/cd at Target and purchased it for them. The first two songs (on the dvd) were of really poor audio quality. The third song would come on and it sounded better but it would play for about 20 seconds and then "stick". If you didn't catch it in time (and "in time", I mean immediately) and fast forward for a couple of seconds it would go back to the very beginning of the dvd. So, putting it in an letting it entertain them so I could get things done was not an option. The cd works great. I tried to take it back to Target. They would only do an even exchange as I didn't have the receipt. Unfortunately, they didn't have another one. So, I purchased one on Amazon through the I-Deals Store. I received it in just a couple of days after ordering. It had the exact same problem. No other dvd that I have used before or since has had this problem. I have a six-disc dvd/cd changer and tried it in three of the six slots and it was the same in all. Therefore, it was not an equipment problem. Obviously, it was a production problem and not limited to one dvd. I'm really surprised no one else has had this issue. I sent it back to I-Deals and it took them over a month to refund my money. Not Amazon's fault, but still poor business on I-Deals part.
