We chose stainless steel chopsticks because they're very durable, and these chopsticks add to that with their beauty. I had looked at lots of other stainless steel chopsticks, but it seemed like they were just as proud to display "SUS304" or "Stainless Steel" right along with their designs, and in large letters on all four sides, too!

I didn't like that at all. It might not be bad if it was printed in small letters and only on one side, but some of those I looked at used as much room to display the material they were made of as they used to display the nice designs they had!

These chopsticks are indeed made of stainless steel, but don't have that printed on the chopsticks themselves anywhere (the box they came in, yes), so nothing detracts from the beautiful designs that are laser-etched onto them. They are high-quality, and even after quite a bit of repeated use and washing in the dishwasher, still look as shiny and beautiful as the the day they came out of the box. Thank you!!

1 the “laser etched grip” isn’t even grip. I was expecting more of a “teeth” feeling when in reality it’s just a (basically) painted design that doesn’t help hold the food. 2 The “square build” is only for the top not for the bottom so it does still slip and turn in your hand. And 3 (and this one is more of my fault) it’s not solid I assumed it would be solid

They are pretty lightweight which i didnt expect because they are metal. Ive had metal in the past and they were significantly heavier. These are pretty close to the weight of sealed bamboo or wood chopsticks. The etching for the “non-slip” is borderline false advertising so be aware. Its there but barely. Its mostly just decorative but you can feel the very slight roughness of the unpolished metal if you run ur fingers along it and press down a bit. If u can use plain metal chopsticks, these will be easier but if you’ve had bamboo or wooden ones with decent cuts to help you pick up food, these will probably be harder. I have had both, personally, so im not gonna return them, but im probably not getting more of these ones specifically because i want ones with deeper marks for my less experienced friends when they want to use them. Will update if dishwasher causes any issues but i doubt it.

These are good chopsticks but they are not solid metal. They are hollow. I should have expected that with the price but the description said metal and they are but not the solid, sturdy metal I expected when I read "metal chopstick". They work and they are pretty but they are not heavy duty and I'm not sure I would cook with them. I hoped to be able to stir noodles and rice in the pot but they are so light weight that I don't think they will work for that.

The chopsticks are sturdy and have a nice design on them. They aren’t too heavy for being metal, but the shape of the stick will kind of hurt your finger after holding it for a while, similar to using a pencil to write. They are metal so they get hot with the food. Overall really nice buy because they are reusable and not very heavy.

We have been buying the cheap, throw-away wooden ones for a while and finally wised up to the fact that they make reusable ones so we jumped on it! We have had them for several months and they look nice, work well, and clean up nicely. They come in a plastic-y zip-loc type storage pouch that will last a while, but not forever. I personally would prefer round ones over these square shape ones for more comfort while using them, but my husband prefers these so that's what we got. At least these won't roll away.
