"Hilarious doesn't even begin to describe this book. It's funny. It's well-written. It's sacrilegious. It's blasphemous. It darn well nearly made me pee my pants I was laughing so hard. I absolutely loved it!" - Candy's Raves (and Rants)
"The Chosen by John Hartness is an example of all that is good and joyful in fiction. I love this book. It's fast paced, very well voiced, and genuinely funny." - Keryl Raist, author of Sylvianna

While reading The Chosen made me chuckle as much as reading his other books, after I was finished (3 non-stop hours that meant missing a work deadline - yeah, that's how much I liked it), I was surprised to find myself moved, too.
I did respect his work and now I envy his imagination. Damned if he didn't one up me.
I am not going to throw in any spoilers. It does play like a who-done-it with the weirdest cast you might pull together. What I will tell you is that this is a well written work that transcends genre. Its a great book that will keep you entertained on a flight with even a crying kid or two. Don't grab it when you can't sleep though. It will keep you going til the sunrise.
