About Chris Coad Taylor
Chris Coad Taylor's passion is writing suspense/mysteries and romantic suspense/thriller novels. She currently has two series available: The Amber series and the Havenridge Mystery series. All novels in both series are stand-alone, meaning you can read one book or all, in any order.
"The Rainbow Murders", of the Amber series, is a romantic suspense and psychological thriller that is set in the exotic locale of Ybor City, Florida. Book two, "Saffron’s Place" will be released sometime in 2020, followed by "Evil Returns".
In her writing, she follows the belief of the late film director, Alfred Hitchcock, that your audience does not need bloody details and that suspense builds better in the minds of your audience. Taylor gives only enough detail to the crimes in her novels that are necessary, she plants her clues and paints her romantic scenes with enough spice that will keep you captivated to the very last page.
Her debut novel, "Secrets of Havenridge", was re-released as a second edition in the fall of 2017. It is the beginning of the Havenridge Mystery series. The first chapter and following chapters have been reshaped and rewritten into an exciting read that is packed with mystery elements, tension, and the same lovable characters you fell in love with from the original book.
The sequel, "Finding Jacob" is scheduled for early release in 2020. The book answers the mystery of the Lover's at Blue Lake and discloses why Jacob never returned to Havenridge.
In addition to her writing, Chris Coad Taylor is an award-winning photographer and a lifetime artist/painter. She lives in Florida with her husband.
