The name and picture is on the front with scriptures on the back. "WHO IS YOUR HERO?". - Joseph, Jonah is forgiven, Daniel in the lion's den, Peter walks on water, David & Goliath, Mary mother of Jesus, Moses parts the sea, Ruth's loyalty, Hannah's promise, Paul overcomes prison, Joshua at Jericho, Esther queen of Persia.
What I like about the cards is that they are something for a kid to have fun with. Kids these days are very in to collecting cards but not all card collecting games are fit for different families of different faiths.
The scriptures picked out seem to overlook the struggle that these people went through in order to become heroes. It totally skips over say, Peter's lack of trust. But this can be a good thing to though, if you use the cards to start a bible study.
I don't like that all the people on the cards are very white. I would think in this day and age we would be able to acknowledge that the people of the Bible were in areas like Egypt and Israel. So bright blue eyes, straight blond hair, and light skin isn't very honest artwork.
The cards seem to be in nkjv or kjv so if you have a young kid, you might have to explain or look up a newer translation for understanding.
I also don't like how there aren't very many of them. I hope they make more strictly from the Holy Bible. Timothy, Deborah, Noah, these would be cool to see and so many others.
