  • "Wake up. I think that this book is a blessing -- the author is very informative of different Scriptures you can associate with...what you may be going through..trying to persuade your significant other into going to church. I felt that she knew exactly what we must feel like...I loved this book tremendously," wrote reader Jazzy.
  • "Learned a lot from this book! I would recommend this for anyone struggling with being a Christian and having a non-Christian spouse/ significant other. This is also a good read for people who are trying to avoid getting into that situation...God bless the woman who wrote this because I am sure it took a whole lot of courage to openly talk about something so private," wrote reader lovebugs1213.

From the Author

Hey there, solo church lady!
This book is for every woman who finds herself trotting off to church alone with Jesus -- seeing as though us Christians are never really alone -- Sunday after Sunday (and sometimes for midweek Tuesday or Wednesday Bible study service) without her mate.

Perhaps you've eyed the Christian Mingle commercials too, and envisioned a happy life of two committed Christians enjoying worship services together, not a Sabbath day spent apart as the female goes off her to non-denominational, Baptist, Catholic, African Methodist Episcopal or whatever church whilst her man prefers the company of ESPN.

Why don't men like church? How can we get more men in church?
These are the same questions author Lydia Paul has asked herself as one church anniversary flowed into the next, and her husband only attended worship services with her a handful of times after watching his wife's baptism more than a decade ago.

In this book you'll find Christian a soul sister...
...who has lived through some of the issues of being a woman who got saved after meeting her husband, a delightful Christian man who doesn't attend church with his wife most Sundays.

Even if your mate or boyfriend hasn't yet accepted Jesus as Savior, within these pages you'll probably relate to issues that can sometimes try to divide a spiritually "solo" woman and her mate.

Like tithes, giving 10% of your income to your household of faith.

Or differing tastes in music.

Prayerfully you'll hold out the same hope the writer discovers when she learns her man has developed a taste for some of the Christian hip hop she loves.

Christian women, keep the faith
As you read Lydia's journey of fasting and praying for her man, perhaps you'll find solace in a soldier who learned that her own walk with the Lord was more important than forcing her man to sling an arm around her in the pews to prove she's cared for and well-loved.
She openly and honestly writes about the pitfalls of the temptations of other Christian men around her, noticing the woman in ministry without her man by her side -- at least in the sanctuary, that is.

Get Saved, Man! is the trek of a woman who has lived the solo church attending life for years, and goes into details that others who haven't walked a mile in her ballet flats may not realize:

  • Like how much a same-sex church buddy can help
  • Or how the issue of differing opinions over tithing can be mitigated
  • Or why you should still attend church even if your man doesn't
  • And how to not fall for the lie that the Christian men who attend church with their wives always have better marriages than yours...

May it bless your soul and allow God to help you move onward in love.
