Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

"Christians, let your hearts bleed with compassion, when you see the spiritual miseries of other men. Mourn for the slavery to the powers of darkness, wherein you see other men are perishing: mourn for the perdition in eternal darkness, that such multitudes of other men do fall into: mourn for all the blindness, & all the hardness & all the sins against God, wherewith you see other men undoing of themselves. There will be an imitation of Christ, in this compassion." Cotton Mather
