Nothing seemed real to her anymore, including the fact she was going to have a baby. Her friend Hazel did all she could to help her. Hazel helped her to see she was blessed to have her husband's child to remember him by.
Caleb lost his wife well over a year ago, he was left with three young children to raise on his own. He needs a wife. Susan and Hazel go to Caleb to see if he and Susan wanted to marry each other.
What will Caleb do when he finds out Susan is heavy with child? Do they marry? What scary thing happens to baby Johnny and the dog? What does Susan Do? What happens when Caleb goes off to a job for two weeks? When Susan has her baby what is it and what do they name it?
This is a very emotional story to me, I absolutely love it. I think you will indeed love it to. If you want the answers to these questions and more please get this wonderful book and read it for yourself. I highly recommend this book.
Since he already has three children she is not sure he would want too more mouths to feed with his struggling farm.
Will the two of them marry or will he send her away?
The characters are well developed, the story is good and of course there are troubles along the way.
I am more of a novel in length reader but often at busy times a well written story just fits the bill. This is one that does and a good Christmas story as well. I recommend this story to anyone who loves Historical western romances, especial a sweet, clean short Christmas story.
I received a ARC for my unbiased and honest review.
