On the brighter side, the author does make some good points about living in the moment, not letting your beliefs about how you think things are supposed to be ruin the joys you do have, and the power of supportive friends and family.
I was hysterical at some parts but this author does use sexual content for sure in
all her books. If it's not your cuppa tea then I don't recommend this but if you like
a laugh with sexual things going on then go for it. I liked the ending also.
This one was undoubtedly the worst that I have ever read.
The monotonous one subject "woe is me" story "my parents got a divorce when I was 12 and ruined my ability to trust any man" became boring and even irritating within the first 20 pages. I pressed on to see if she had finally beat this to death enough but NO.., it went on and on and on. Then she went on a working/ cabin sharing adventure to another country wit a couple of alcoholic , messy, nymphomaniacs who she was. Sure to remind me ( on every other page) she did not fit in with.. Boohoo!
I think that I just kept reading to find out when she would receive her lost luggage that she had moaned and groaned about for several chapters... bore alert... just one more thing she pounded into the ground and then never touched on again. This book just made me feel sad. Not for the character, but for me , the poor schmuck who had just this book , a bad cold and no bamboo shoots to shove in my eyes.
I would have given it a minus 5 if possible.
