Of the 25 or so versions of "A Christmas Carol" that I own, this is the worst version I have ever seen. The dialogue, which would embarrass the average 10 year old in its stupidity, has to be heard to be believed. Nearly the entire production is an insult to Charles Dickens and to anyone over 5 years old. This pitiful waste of energy doesn't deserve even one star.

A fun little parody!

The Saban company took a japanese action show called Super Sentai, added english dialogue, filmed some new scenes, and created Power Rangers.

Here, Saban found a weird little anime version of A Christmas Carol (where Christmas Future is a little girl with pink hair, and Scrooge has a wicked unibrow) then added some hilarious, self-aware english dialogue.

The result is a fun little parody, not only of the Dickens classic, but the japanese source cartoon.

"I'm the Ghost of Christmas Future."

"Well I'll be darned."

"I'm certain that you will, but it's not really my department."

OR

"That grave has my name on it! This must be some kind of joke."

"No way Scrooge, the producer said there shouldn't be any jokes in the graveyard scene."

"But my agent never mentioned dying!"

Do yourself a favor and pick up this obscure little treat!
