The CD it self came on time and in great condition. It sounds good I just wish that every single song was the same as on my record. Oh well it was kind of a crap shoot buying it because the back of the record was not shown so that I could see what the songs were. Still it is a fun recording :-)

I found Christmas Comedy Classics II in a used bin several years ago, but was unable to find Volume I at an affordable price - so when it came down in price, I nabbed it.
Most of these classics are relatively unknown and - in my opinion - not as good as the collection in Volume II. But most are still really clever. Among the most enjoyable are Mel Blanc's "The Hat I Got for Christmas Is Too Beeg" and "I Tan't Wait Till Quithmuth Day." There are also a couple of Stan Freeberg classics: "Nuttin' For Chirstmas" and "Green Christmas," the latter spotlighting the Christmas commercialism ("As sure as there is an 'X' in Christmas") versus the true meaning of Christmas. And, of course, what would a Christmas Comedy album be without Alvin & the Chipmunks ("Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer"). The album ends with Guy Lombardo's "Auld Lang Syne," which seemed out of place for the rest of the album.
The only really disappointing part of the album was a cheesy rendition of "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" done by the Irish Rovers instead of Elmo & Patsy. And - as another reviewer mentioned - "Monster's Holiday" was a cover by Lon Chaney Jr. instead of Bobby "Boris" Pickett.
Still, it's an album that's bound to get at least a chuckle (or two) from the listener!

I used to listen to this tape as a kid when i was decorating the Christmas tree with my mom.
So to get it as an adult in CD form is awesome!
I received it promptly and seller was very helpful.
