I know we will certainly be including it in the holiday rotation for years to come, but will also watch it throughout the year when we need a little spiritual pick me up. It will become a classic in our house. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good spirited Christmas film.
I routinely depend on the reviews of others when deciding between purchase options and sellers when making purchases, and I know how important they can be to the average consumer like myself. I always offer my honest, unbiased opinions based upon my actual use of the products for which I submit a review. [...]
The deal that her big corporation wants puts profit ahead of people and that doesn't gibe well with the owner of the company Jake (Wes Brown.) Jake is more concerned about saving the jobs of the people in his hometown. He spends his time trying to convince Hannah that there are other ways to get the deal done (including with another investment group) while she continues to try to convince him to accept her deal – even when she realizes that her heart isn't in it.
How the two of them get together is the gist of the tale. It's all about compromise, learning new ways, and finding the thing that you are passionate about. Quite a cute film though not really about Christmas so much as set at Christmas time.
Jill Wagner is a new actor for me. I've seen Wes Brown in many roles, both in series and in movies. It was fun to see him once again and to meet Ms. Wagner. She brought an elegant look and a sassy vibe to the movie that was charming.
the product description sounded a lot like a few other movies with a similar---cannot help myself---cookie-cutter plot with different
casts. Though similar---in a few points---this was a fresh addition to my collection.
This one has a woman that thinks more about her JOB than Christmas. She is urged to travel to a small town to finalize a deal with
the [new] owner of a hometown bakery. The owner happens to be a lawyer from NYC that returns to his hometown to save the family
business. As usual, there's a happy ending; and a kiss.
