Being Christmas time she has booked rooms in a lodge for her family. Her father, two brothers and their partners all show up for the holiday weekend. It is here she meets the hero. He is gorgeous, big, sexy, and seems made for a nice weekend fling. It starts out that way but then for the first time in almost forever, things seem different.
I loved this hero. He is so yummy. It would be hard not to fall in love with him. The story is all about the two of them and the issues that she needs to work through. Then what is going to happen when the holiday is over and they go back to their regular lives? I loved this story. It was so good. The characters are getting close to 30, so they don't play silly games. They just need to get to know each other and see where it is all going.
I was very entertained and found the story to be very good. There were no bad guys, no violence, no drugs, etc. Just the two of them finding their way to that HEA. Great read and I definitely recommend it.
I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 1/10/18
As a ski racer, I found the teaching to ski was accurate and reasonable, The joy off skiing was significant and a dimension of the story that was exciting. I also liked the social economic equality between the characters. Not a Pretty Woman premise and I like the strong personalities of both Lexi and Adam! Just a nice, satisfying Christmas romance that was satisfying.
Adam Hunt and Lexi Stuart shouldn't intersect. Adam is a coder who made a comfortable living and was vacationing at Lake Tahoe, NV. Lexi is a small venture capitalist who's picking businesses to grow also vacationing at Lake Tahoe. They met during Christmas Holiday at the lake... they had one wild night together... and she ignored him for further engagements... because she thought he's just one of guys looking for notches on their bedpost. But Adam is quite serious...
Somehow, their other lives didn't come back to haunt them or any additional complications. It's just a plain "fling to a thing" romance.
