But then again he never said he forgave her. Just that it was "in the past". That's not forgiveness. People need the words to have true healing.
If that's wasn't disappointing enough the book just all of a sudden stops and goes into a preview for another book. I'm disappointed there wasn't more "meat" to the ending and having it not just stop in its tracks.
I also didn't care much for Jared.
It takes a strong person to be a military or a police spouse. They need a support group and so much more. It appears like Tyler never helped Kelsey with any of that in the beginning. I think that would've helped her and would've prevented the original Dear John letter.
This was the story of a Dear John Letter and Second Chances at Christmas. Tyler is injured in bomb blast in Afghanistan and has suffered amnesia so doesn’t recall that Kelsey has sent him a Dear John Letter that she has regretted sending since she sent it and loos at this as a second chance. But keeping secrets and lying isn’t the way! Can they find their way through this tangled mess and back to the love they shared? Can Kelsey be strong enough to be a Marine wife? Definitely a sweet lovely read worthy of your time!
When Kelsey saw her supposed ex-boyfriend arrived at her door, she realized that she still loved her ex-fiancée. So when she knew that he lost his memory, she was determined to take what she can get. I really love this story. I totally agree that lie is not a good base of relationship. I love the emotion that this book evokes to me and I can feel Kelsey confusion and the war inside her head. I disagreed with her action but I understood her conflict. I want to read more from this author.
