Sarah is an entitled brat who doesn't really have a care in the world for anyone else except maybe her sister even though she is a nurse, you don't see any compassion from her.
Sarah rudely bumps into Mick and this is how they meet and from there, things don't turn out well between the two of them. Sarah's sister Meghan invites Mick over for supper as they have become wonderful friends and she wants him to meet her sister. Unbeknownst to Meghan, they have already met.
The conversations are trite, cliche and stilted to me.
I didn't feel any chemistry between Mick and Meghan at all.
Then there is a piece that just drops off, just because Meghan sends a text doesn't mean that should have been the end of it. That one could have been explored just a little more. A lot of I shouldn't do this but do it anyways also.
It could have been a fabulous book, just missing pieces and chemistry.
Received this book as an ARC for my honest review.
