From the Author
Four best friends...
A sentiment true not only for the characters in Tule's Christmas in NY series, but for the four authors behind the creation of these young heroines as well. It all began back in 2010, when one by one, Jolyse, Patty, and Jen met Jeannie through Long Island Romance Writers. The following June, the four chapter mates attended Romance Writer of America's Annual National Conference in their home city of New York and solidifiedtheir friendship.
The four friends attend writing workshops and other eventsto strengthen their craft. They hold informal brainstorming and plotting sessions at each others' homes (which may or may not involve adult beverages) and, like their heroines, keep in touch via a constant stream of mass media texts when life takes them in different directions. They often crack each other up with their off-beat humor and--when necessary--talk each other down from emotional ledges.
In many ways, Jeannie, Jen, Jolyse, and Patty are as different as their fictional heroines, but they all agree that the best part about writing are the people they've gotten to know as a result of their creative passion.
Four best friends. Four unexpected reunions. Christmas in New York.
Love comes to town in this heartwarming and unique four-book series set on the same timeline between Thanksgiving and New Year's. Available at all major etailers in digital format under their separate titles, as well as in paperback anthology, it makes the perfect collectible gift for the romance reader in your life...at any time of the year.

I found the other three novellas written by other authors to be quite endearing, with each one telling a tale which only could have taken place in one of the best cities for the Christmas holidays, New York. Memories of a love from years ago, trust, forgiveness, a rekindled affair are all elements which went into these three stories. There’s an entire spectrum of emotions in these pages, emotions which pull you in as you can almost sense what the characters are going through.
As for the novella written by Ms. Blount there is a definite kismet which has taken place between the two main characters, Elena Larsen and Lucas Adair. They paths had cross several years before at the yearly remembrance which is held for families of those that had perish on 9/11. Both share the loss of their mothers and all the memories which go along with it. While Lucas has gotten over the grief for the most part with all the volunteering he’s done, Elena still carries it with her and hasn’t allowed herself to trust others even the one she’s close to and loves. These two almost share a past surrounding a crystal snowflake. With Christmas being the season of love and hope, can these two individuals connect with each other and start a relationship.
I truly loved what each of these four stories which is why I’m giving Ms. Blount and the other three authors 5 STARS for the endeavors they’ve written here.
A decade ago, Jake Killen, the love of Sabrina Gervais' life, left her for another woman. Shortly thereafter, Sabrina discovered she was pregnant, but decided never to let him know. Now, work has brought Jake back to New York. When he encounters Sabrina and her nine-year-old daughter, Charlotte, he instantly realizes that he is the girl's father. Now, he not only wants to be a part of Charlotte's life, but a part of Sabrina's as well. But Jake took Sabrina's heart with him when he left the first time and she can't risk losing anything more. This Christmas by Jeannie Moon is one of four independent but interrelated novellas in Tule Publishing's Christmas In New York series. It is a nice, little story in which love prevails and wishes come true. Reading it put a smile on my face. The story does contain a couple of spicy scenes.
Cassandra Baines and her friend are out for a night on the town in New York City. Being that it is a cold night, they decide to duck into the first place that looks decent. Little do they know, they've just walked into the one bar that is co-owned by Cassandra's ex-fiance, Sean McKinnon. Cassandra last saw Sean seven years ago when he left her for reasons he never fully disclosed. Now, he wants her back and he will do whatever it takes. All I Want For Christmas by Jennifer Gracen is one of four independent but interrelated novellas in the Christmas In New York series. With his lilting Irish brogue and his sparkling deep blue eyes, I couldn't help but fall in love with Sean myself. Delightfully enjoyable and pleasantly tame, this is the first work I've read of Ms. Gracen's, but it certainly won't be the last. A must read for me!
Having just quit her job and her relationship, Jade Engel is moving back home to New York to map out a new future. When a snowstorm forces her to stop along the way, she chances upon Benji Stephens, a boy from her past. No longer the young boy she publicly humiliated in eighth grade, Benji is now a fully grown, fiercely handsome man. Figuring she can't fully move forward until fixing her past, she apologizes. But when her simple apology reignites old feelings, Jade's future becomes more uncertain than ever. A Light In the Window by Jolyse Barnett is one of four independent but interconnected novellas in the Christmas In New York series. Slightly spicy, this former friends to lovers story makes for a very fun, Christmas-themed read.
For the first time since losing her mother in the attack on the World Trade Center, Elena Larsen has returned to New York City. Upon arriving, she encounters Lucas Adair, who also lost his mother on that fateful day. As far as Elena knows, she has never met Lucas before; yet, there is something remarkably familiar about him. As Lucas and Elena continue to randomly come into contact with one other, it is up to them to decide if it is mere coincidence or fate. Goodness And Light by Patty Blount is an absolutely wonderful new novella in the Christmas In New York series. There is nothing gloomy about this inspirational story of destiny and finding the silver lining in loss. With its beautiful sentiment of love and hope, it is the perfect holiday read. Aptly titled, it is filled all of the goodness and light of the holiday season. I highly recommend it!
This Christmas by Jeannie Moon
Jeannie Moon has written the most wonderful Christmas book on second chance love, this is one book that you do not want to miss this holiday season.
Bree and Jake had a short relationship, that resulted in a pregnancy. Jake never knew, he now returns to Holly Point 10 years later to learn that he has a little girl by the name of Charlie. There is still a strong chemistry between Sabrina and Jake, but Sabrina is so afraid of opening her heart again. Charlie won my heart over immediately, all she has wished for every Christmas is for her father, that wish went into the wish box every year. Will this Christmas be magical for Sabrina, Jake and Charlie.
All I Want For Christmas by Jennifer Gracen
Loved the story of Cassie and Sean. They have a history from seven years ago but then parted. An accidental meeting now in a New York bar, bring back the memories of what they had. Now both have matured and grown, do they have that leap of faith to make it work. Loved the Irish brogue of Sean, I can just hear him talking in mind. All of the Christmas music and decorations will surely put you in the mood for the holidays.
A Light in the Window by Jolyse Barnett
A wonderful Christmas read by debut author, Jolyse Barnett. Jade and Ben were best friends up to high school, then Jade went her own way and was actually mean to Ben. Now they reconnect at the Christmas holidays when Jade returns home for a short visit. Jade states this will only temporary, friends with benefits. Ben is hoping for a Christmas miracle with winning Jade's heart over.
I really enjoyed this story of friends to lovers. I could close my eyes and visualize everything Jolyse was describing, I love Christmas.
Goodness and Light by Patty Blount
An emotional read of learning to trust and forgiveness. Elena and Lucas have something in common they both lost their mothers in 9/11. They were both young at the time with a lot of grief and guilt. Lucas has been able to move on with his volunteering as an outlet. Elena still holds on, and blames herself. It turns out they have a history with a crystal snowflake. Can Elena realize the only mistake she has made in life is not trusting the people who love you.
