- Unexpected Gift by Chanetel Rhondeau
Remember reading a story about the beauty and the beast? That's what this reminded me of. Cali would be the beauty and Marcus would be the beast. Cali was away from home for the first time and knew no one. She lived in an apartment building that it appeared no one cared for. Coming home one day there was a cat out and her neighbor told her it belonged to the guy who lived above her. So she returns it to the guy and this begins the unexpected courtship between Marcus and Cali. Marcus is one of a kind though since he wont let anyone see him. (You find out later in the story as to why)
I really loved this story. I'm a huge fan of these types of romances and this one had me hooked from the beginning. You really should give this one a read!
-Christmas on Cougar Mountain by Nancy Radke
This story begins in such a sad way - with a dog, in pouring rain, heading into deading traffic on a freeway onramp! Lucky for the dog someone cared enough to stop and help him out. Throughout this story you learn about a struggle of a parent who cares so much for his son that he lets a woman teach him skills for dyslexic children that actually help him in school. You also learn about the struggles of a parent who think those lessons aren't working at all.
This review is really hard for me to write without giving the story away. It's such a good read for anyone but especially for parents of kids with disabilities.Read more ›
Rachelle Ayala - Christmas Lovebirds
What an adorable and sweet story! Rob and Melisa’s love story was genuine and tender. Their conflict was reality-based and not full of drama. I loved the entire story and wished it never ended! The lovebirds’ love story was so sweet and cute. I was thrilled that they had each other, too.
Jade Kerrion - Graced
Connor is trying his best to raise his two daughters after the death of their mother, but he feels like he is failing. Noelle gets called home when her father gets sick, and finds out Connor is her father’s doctor. Noelle and Connor knew each other previously, but not well. Noelle starts helping Connor with his children, and they slowly start to bond. But Noelle is going back to LA. Will she break Connor’s heart as well as her own? This was a really good book!
Mona Risk - Two Loves for Christmas
Josh and Emma are thrown together by their parents. Emma has no knowledge of this, but Josh was told by his parents that he needs to change his image, and Emma is the one to help him with that. Josh hires Emma to work at his law firm. Things happen, and they end up becoming closer. Will Emma truly change Josh? Will they fall in love? This was a really enjoyable book!
Aubrey Wynne - Dante's Gift
I wasn't too invested in this story at the beginning, but I kept reading. And I have to tell you, this story gave me chills! (That's the good kind, by the way.) When I was reading as Antonia was recalling her time with Ken, I couldn't help but just feel the love and magic of their relationship. And Dante, I could almost feel his tail wagging against my leg. Loved the story!Read more ›

The books had happy endings; however some of them had no plots or main themes. Girl meets boy. Boy falls in love with girl. The end. I didn't care for the swear words. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Good light read.
