If you like Sabuda's pop up books, you'll love this one, too. Period. There's only one "new" pop up in there (the rest are some used in The Christmas Alphabet, but only the C,H,R,I,S,T,M,A,S letters are used) but it's a small book in size and the cost enables it to be given as a stocking stuffer, etc. Highly recommended!

Our family has a tradition of celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas. One of the ways we stretch it out is by pulling out pop-up books, one per day. This little book will be a gift for the children on one of the days of Christmas this year, then it will join ranks with the others we have for the family to enjoy through Epiphany.

The book is small, like the size of the Beatrix Potter books, but thicker. All of the pop ups work well and are nice. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that it seems to be in part a selection of the longer Christmas ABC's book from the same author/paper tech. I found the "Look Inside" feature a little misleading for that reason.

Absolutely beautiful as are all of Sabuda's pop-up books. As much for adults as children. Very happy with it!

I ordered this in excitement for giving this to our librarian and other school faculty for Christmas. This is a micro pop up book. I didn't even know they had pop up books this small. I collect pop ups and will read the fine print from now on. Look at product information very carefully.

Soon it will be that time of year to enjoy Robert Sabuda's holiday season pop-up books. The The Twelve Days of Christmas : A Pop-Up Celebration and The Night Before Christmas Pop-up were pretty amazing but it was Winter's Tale: An Original Pop-up Journey where his genius really flowered by creating a remarkably ambitious book of pop-up tableaus that rose outside the confines of the book with the final spread having flashing colored lights in a house.

This 'Christmas' book is really a stocking filler of elegant, simple graphic pop-ups that illustrate the word Christmas with each spread taking one letter of the word and using it as the initial of another seasonal word: C for Candle; H for Home; R for ribbon etcetera and the last spread has Santa popping up and unfolding the words MERRY CHRISTMAS.

The book is a pure delight but be careful because looking at a Sabuda book is catching and soon you'll want to get the others!

As with Sabuda's other pop-up books, this will not disappoint.

This mini book has mostly white (metallic accents, red for Santa) pop-ups that "pop" in 2D, as well as 3D, because of the solid-colored background. The book spells out Christmas with each page layout having a letter and a pop-up that corresponds to that letter (SPOILER ALERT: C-Candle, H-House, I-Icicle, S-Snowflake, T-toy, M-Manger, A-Angel, S-Santa).

While this mini book can be enjoyed by all ages, it seems like it would be an especially good option for younger children. Small hands could hold the book and the pop-ups aren't as intricate, with the potential to harm them, as with some of Sabuda's other books.

I've been collecting Robert Sabuda pop-up books since I first discovered them several years ago. I believe I have most of his pop-up books. Usually by the end of October I order the next book, usually sight unseen.

I've never been sorry. This years' book CHRISTMAS POP-UP is another delight, although the size is not my favorite. I wonder, is he running out of ideas or subjects? In the mean time, I'm still a Robert Sabuda fan.

I buy a lot of pop-up books for my 4 year old niece, and her favorites are all Sabuda books. They are so detailed and clever and never cease to evoke a "wow!" whenever opened. They also hold up very well, unlike other pop-up books. This book is a great size for her to carry around and she takes it out more often than the bigger books. It is a perfect stocking stuffer!
