Dr. Christopher Burton is a practicing physician who specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He also has presented many lectures on health, nutrition and exercise for healthcare groups, including Select Physical Therapy and Gentiva, as well as for schools such as Florida State University, Fortis Institute, and Azusa Pacific University.
In 2009, Dr. Burton traveled to China as part of a sports medicine delegation to discuss treatment and rehabilitation of athletes with local physicians across the country. In June 2013, he joined world renowned leadership expert John Maxwell to train over 20,000 leaders in Guatemala impacting business, government, education, media and more.
Dr. Burton also speaks to the business community on the affects of wellness programs on employee productivity and healthcare costs. Through his involvement in local, state, and national medical organizations, Dr. Burton provides outstanding leadership in the healthcare community. He has served as Chair of the Young Physician's Section of the Florida Medical Association and Vice President of the Escambia County Medical Society among other positions. He brings a wealth of knowledge and broad experiences everywhere he speaks.
