Get Out Of Your Funk Volume 1 Description.
Your funk is real and a broken health industry does nothing to support you. Millions of products that can be purchased from gym memberships to diet plans all promise the world yet time and time again deliver disappointment.
Each time a magic pill gets us excited (this time will be different) we get sucked in, we may even get a little success, but eventually our own personal well grooved habits kick in, returning us back to the status quo and or maybe with a little extra, compounding our negative view of ourselves.
Wether the funk appears through binge eating, binge watching, binge consuming, anxiety, depression, fear, malaise or any other manifestation, it is the dark side we know is there yet still struggle to move forward towards, love, joy and kindness to ourself and others
The big problem is the funk can’t be fixed up with a product, if it could you would have done that by now, you are an intelligent human, you have achieved in many areas of your life and have great ideas on what “should” happen.
Yet shoulds add to the pressures of how one should behave, act or live their life once more compounding the funk.
I want to tell you it does not need to be this way. There are prompts tools and primers that can work with you to develop a mindful awareness to support you in questioning your own habits and creating new habits without adding to the funk.
This book is for you whom is struggling to move forward, to support you in finding your own path towards love joy and kindness through the recognition, acceptance, non judgment and a level of (in)action suitable to you.
Packed full of tools, prompts and practical solutions When Life Happens is the friend, coach and teacher to remind you of your own abilities and power to create, change and keep moving forward so When Life Happens next, you are ready with a smile on your face.

If something you read does not resonate with you, move on, words are just words but If a text or phrase stirs you, sit with it, explore it, be curious and connect the actions you know you need to do with the feelings being generated.
Please don’t try and think or force your way out of your funk, get to know the funk first, befriend it, understand it and then start to challenge its hold on you though curiosity and non attachment.
Be well

In a world where men are told to 'Man Up!' we felt it was time to share authentic, uplifting stories from men who have been through trauma and come out stronger, emotionally and mentally.
Step in to the shoes of these true warriors of the 21st Century, each shining a light on taboos and showing their human vulnerabilities in a positive and uplifting way. Collectively these men share their insights and experiences of cancer, stroke, marriage breakdown, suicidal thoughts and abuse. They each venture in to areas of life where few men would feel safe to speak and then show a pathway through.
