The chairs are comfortable and swivel easy, the design is classy. The wood is sturdy and it was simple to assemble. The best thing I like about these chairs are how much support they give in the back area, style, and the comfort.
Another screw fell out.
A third screw fell out.
Ball bearing fell out.
Chair collapsed so that it no longer swivels, and it's shorter a little crooked.
They would have been a great value if they weren't such a piece of crap.
Now the second chair has started to fall apart. Fortunately, I kept the first chair so I can use it for parts.
The company said they had a 30 day return policy and I don't own a crap detector, so I didn't know about the quality until after 30 days.
They are the perfect height for my counter. They are so soft and sturdy. Assembly was quick and easy. If you’re contemplating....go ahead and get them.
If you are going to cut the legs you will need a miter saw that can cut at two different angles because of the slant of the legs compared to the floor. I was able to cut them
All off and although I’m sure they aren’t all exactly the same down to the millimeter, I was able to rid the chair of any wobble using their “drop” test. The instructions literally tell you that if they have a wobble you should drop them to the ground, so I did, and each chair that had a slight wobble lost it’s wobble without fail. What a hoot!
Anyways, I’m not a professional at all so don’t be intimidated by the cutting as long as you have the tools. You can measure the angle by putting the leg on the ground flat to the bottom and putting a level where you want to cut and drawing a line across with the level. Then use your level to draw another line the other side of the leg starting at the same Point. Using your miter saw get the two angles to the right point and snip it. It’s not difficult and again if it’s not perfect, just drop the chair!
