About the Author
Catherine Marshall began her writing career as a single mother, after the untimely death of her husband in 1949. She went on to write more than 20 books. Catherine's greatest success was her 1967 novel, Christy, inspired by the story of her mother, which spawned a television series, a youth book series, and a made-for-television movie. Catherine Marshall passed away in March 1983.--This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

One night during a fierce mountian storm, three drunken men try to break into the mission house to attack the women there. The rain drives them away. Soon after, Christy discovers Ruby Mae missing, checks to see if she is with Prince only to discover that Prince has broken out of the corral.
Frantic to find the girl, Christy plunges on into the storm only to be captured by the three drunks.
Does she escape? What about Ruby Mae and Prince? Another gripping must-read!
This will give you a better feel for her life and works. Some readers feel that "Christy" was her best. All of her books should be a part of any Christian's library.
I think all of her books are out of print, but are available thru Amazon.
